I have no Story View - just a big red cross!

Sorry to hear about the behavior with your file - first, I'd  try importing your Storyline Project into a new file to see if this helps to clear up any persistent corruption. You'll also want to confirm that you're working with local project files as described here. 

Thanks Ashley..... I had done what you suggested. I closed everything down, prayed and went back into it after 10 minutes and it had sorted itself out thankfully.

I think it was probably me working on too many things at once

Thanks for the update Dawn and I'm happy to hear everything was sorted out. You may also want to make a back up copy of your files in the event that if it happens again and it's not reversible you have a copy to go back to. 

Let me try this... shut it down, pray, and open it up.  I'm having the same issue.

Did you try to import into a new file as Ashley suggested above? 

Are you having difficulty with just this file or multiple files? If multiple, perhaps a repair of your software should be done.

i know this issue are come due to some problems .

if you follow the same step which are given below;-

step 1:-

First of you open the project or file in Articulate storyline.

without any change you try to publish the file.after closing the window of publishing.

Step 2:-

After doing the First step add the content what really you want to add in it.

i hope everything will be fine.

Hi all - I am having this issue in Storyline 2 as well.  I have tried all the below, but I am still having the white box/red "X" issue.  Did anyone find success?

I had same problem.  Saving and re-opening the file fixed it.
