We have been trying to figure out what could be causing our resume video message font mix up. Only happens in IE and only when watching the video starting on the second time. When receiving the resume video message.
We are just wondering if there is an issue with the use of the Open Sans font. Strangely, when viewing the output render the video player fonts are good and picking up from the resume where you left off works too. The issue is only when we access the video player from our website to the video that is housed on another server.
We changed the player font to Arial to get away from the Google Open Sans. We can see the different font, but with an F12 investigation it still is using the Open Sans with a Charset1_ and some numbers. Is it possible that this is still using Open Sans and pointing to the Arial font?
We have been troubleshooting this for a few weeks and can't seem to resolve it. Only happens in IE and when the video is picked up from a second viewing.

Hey John!
Thanks for sharing those screenshots- that's definitely a strange one.
Can you share your .story file here so I can do some testing? You can add it as an attachment right to a comment.
Really appreciate it!

Hi John,
What version of IE are you using? I've seen some odd font displays in IE when it's using an older version and trying to run the HTML5 output.
Also, is the font a Google web font, or the built in Open Sans?
Hi Ashley,
Just wanted to give a follow up. We are using the latest version of IE 11.
Turns out it was indeed the use of the Google Open Sans font. We switched the players font and all is well now.
Thanks for your help.
Thanks so much for that follow up John, and I'm glad that you're back up and running.
