I'm importing WAV files that were recorded on a digital audio recorder with a professional mic. The files play fine from the folder on my computer. When I import the file to a slide and click Preview - the audio quality is terrible and is full of background crackles and pops. I tried publishing the file, and the audio playback was okay. Is this a known issue with Preview playback of audio files? When trying to sync slide objects with the audio, it is really difficult to listen to.
Are your WAV recordings 16 bit? If not, convert your audio files to 16 bit and see if that gets rid of the background noise when previewing. (Articulate Support: Issues Importing Audio into Storyline). This might resolve the issue.... Let me know! =)
