Importing a PowerPoint

Feb 16, 2021

I've been importing PowerPoints into Storyline 360, in Windows 10,  and finding that the text boxes in Ppt turn into graphics files (pngs) in Storyline, so I can't edit the text in the presentations.

I am using the PowerPoint program and not the web-based Office 365, and tried importing directly and also creating a new file and importing it with the same result.

I read the other troubleshooting messages here, and I've ensured the slides aren't grouped or anything strange that would make the file switch like this.

Any suggestions?  Thanks!

Hello Peggy!

I'm happy to help make sure your PowerPoint is importing properly into Storyline 360. You'll see text boxes turn into PNG files if you're copying the slides from PowerPoint and pasting them into Storyline 360. You shouldn't see this behavior when using the import option.

Have you tried importing another PowerPoint to see if this happens with all PowerPoint projects or just this specific project?

I'd like to take a look to see what might be causing the snag. Would you mind sharing the Articulate Package with us? You can upload it using this secure upload link.
