Importing Animated Presenter (PowerPoint) into Storyline

Jan 15, 2013

I created a PowerPoint (2007) with the 1st level paragraph entrance animation of "Fade" and no slide transitions, narrated it with Presenter '09, and published it with Presenter.  I then imported the PowerPoint into Storyline, with no changes made.  When I publish it in Storyline, some of the 1st level paragraphs are displayed at the beginning, and others appear as they should appear.  There doesn't appear to be any pattern related to which paragraphs are displayed at the beginning.

I've read the article "How PowerPoint animations and slide transitions are imported into Storyline" (http://www.articulate.com/support/kb_article.php?product=st1&id=ni99woc3yifx), and can't seem to find a solution that would allow the animations to appear in the same sequence as in PowerPoint.

I've updated Storyline to the most current version.  I had the same issue before I updated Storyline.  What am I doing wrong?

Hi Chula. Welcome to E-Learning Heroes!

I'm not sure if you've seen the other article on this topic or not, but you may want to take a quick look, just in case. It's not an exact conversion, so some text may need to be readjusted (format, etc) or relocated. This may be why you've seen the before and you still see it now.

It may be due to specific formatting on some of the paragraphs that are and are not relocating in the slides, but it's difficult to say. You're welcome to share a Presenter Package here, if you'd like us to take a look, or you can send it to us privately

Thanks!
