Insert PPT > Slide View/Text Boxes Skewed in Storyline

Using Storyline for the first time and I imported PPT slides. Upon opening the individual slides from the Story View, the slide text boxes end up skewed off the page. In Preview however the slides look great.
Is there a setting or issue with the original ppt slides that would make it behave like this?

Beyond Phil's statement here, I am personally unaware of what setting or behavior might cause this, although I may be missing something. I would recommend submitting a Support Case and including a copy of both (a) your .story file and (b) your original PPT slides for us to troubleshoot. Thanks!
