Installation Tiny Screen & Font Size

Aug 19, 2019

I downloaded Storyline 2 on a new laptop with Windows 10.  The screen size is tiny -- maybe 4-6 pt font -- I could barely see the text as I entered my serial # to activate and launch the program.

My Windows display is set to the recommended 3240 x 2160.  The Articulate  v2 system requirements show anything higher than 1,280 x 800 is recommended. (It does display correctly at 1280X800 but I'd rather not keep it there as I'm multi-tasking in other programs...and it's a new laptop so I want to use the best display!

Any ideas?

Thanks for the help

Hi Corrine,

Thanks for reaching out to share what you are experiencing along with your resolution settings.

User interface elements in Storyline 2 may be small and difficult to read on high-resolution monitors—generally, monitors that are more than 2,000 pixels in width. I'd recommend reducing your screen resolution while working in Storyline.

Hi Alli,

For the Storyline 360 user interface, you would want to be sure that the display settings are aligned with the minimum system requirements for using Storyline 360: Storyline 360: System Requirements. As Leslie mentioned, if the user interface is appearing small and challenging to read, usually adjusting the screen resolution resolves the issue.
