Is it possible to remove the audio from a screen recording?

I've created a screen recording that took a while to get just right. Unfortunately, the audio contains a hum that is rather distracting. A colleague was able to take the video file and use 3rd party tools to reduce the hum, but in so doing the video quality degraded significantly. We're wanting to use the improved audio he created with the original video - but I would need to remove the audio from the original. Is there a way to do that?
