Scenario: I want to record a video that demonstrates how to add a column to a table in Word. I plan to first record the demonstration and then insert it into a scene as individual step-by-step slides.
Is it necessary to first storyboard this recording? It seems redundant to me.
You're planning to use the same recording for each, correct? You should be able to insert the demonstration as a single video, then insert it again as a Step-by-step recording after words.
To do this, simply click on the "Insert" tab and select "Record Screen". Your original recording should still be available in the drop-down menu. Select the menu and then select the options you'd like to use for your second instance of the recording.
If you have any trouble with this, or any questions, just ask! :)
Thank you. My question remains: do we need to create a storyboard first? I don't think so, but if there are reasons for doing so, I'd like to be aware of them.

Judy,
I personally don't use them. I cannot see why you would need to do so, unless your project or interaction calls for it.
Great! Thank you Christine!
Anytime, Judy! Good luck with the project and recording :)
