You could add in this type of interaction by including a quiz question where a learner has to click a button confirming receipt and reading of a document.
What I'd suggest is add in the document as a web object or hyperlink where they could download it.
Than on the next slide you could build it using a quiz question, such as a freeform pick one. You can add in two buttons
Yes, I read and understand the document.
No, I did not yet read it.
Clicking Yes could bring them to a new page providing an option to exit and clicking No could bring them back to the previous screen where they'd see that they needed to read/download the file.
