Issue with Text Entry slides in Post-Quiz Review

Mar 29, 2017

Hi! I have some tests in Storyline 360 and some percentage of them are Text Entry quizzes. I put a check mark in “Show correct/incorrect responses when reviewing” in the result slide in trigger “Review results”. But when reviewing Text Entry slides the correct answers are very big (I'll put a screenshot named “1280-720”). I found that issue is in Story Size accurate in the Height. My course is 1280 x 720. When I changed the height to 540 it becomes normal, but when height changes to 541, again it looks bad.

How can I fix this? Or how I can uncheck “Show correct/incorrect responses when reviewing” only for Text Entry slides?

Hi Atta,

Thanks for sharing those two images here. It's an issue that our team is aware of in Storyline 2, and I see it carried over into Storyline 360 so we're investigating, and I'll include this discussion in that report.

Depending on priority and risk, some bugs can be fixed quickly, while others take longer to resolve. Here's more information on how we identify and tackle bugs.

I’ll let you know as soon as we have an update on this issue. Thanks so much again for letting us know about this, and I’m sorry if it’s slowing you down.

In the meantime, the review options are for the entire quiz, and as you determined slide size has an impact on this. We've found that lower than 760x570 for 4:3 aspect ratio and lower than 970x546 for 16:9 aspect ratio have better results.

Hi Atta,

Good news! We fixed the issue you reported where the:

Fill in the blanks' list of Acceptable Answers are incorrectly displayed when using higher resolution on Slide size.

Be sure to install the latest Storyline 360 update to take advantage of all the recent features and fixes.

If the problem happens again, please record a Peek 360 screencast for me, and I'll be happy to help or you can always work directly with our support engineers here.
