I am experiencing issues formatting my text within Storyline 2. I have tried changing the font size, style, color and no matter what I do it won't change. I have attached an example where I am attempting to remove the text shadow from a caption and am unable to do so. The Home ribbon shows that no shadow is applied when you can clearly see that it is.
When I run into that issue, I will first try to change the font size. that resets the options on the text. I run into the opposite as well, where I am trying to turn on the shadow and it never looks like I do.
What does it look like when you preview, or publish?
The shadow is added automatically to captions in Storyline, but you should be able to remove it using one of the options here:
I've also seen folks who were unable to change the shadow if it had been copied/pasted from Word or somewhere similar, So you'll want to first copy into Notepad or another text editing tool that doesn't have formatting options to remove all those elements which may not play nicely with Storyline.
