issues with client's app and Storyline
Aug 30, 2013
I have a Fortune 100 client for whom I am creating a series of Storyline courses. The learners are all on iPads. The client does not want to go through their training department or use their LMS. The also don't want to have to download the Storyline app for the iPad.
Instead they want the learners to be able to get to the courses with one click in their sales management tool where they store everything else the salesforce needs. They also have access to one overworked IT guy who has created an app for them to get the Storyline courses to play the way they want. Unfortunately, it cuts off text at the top and degrades the audio. They used a professional voiceover for this and it sounds fine on my end.
Any ideas on what is going on and how to solve this problem? they have been very happy with the courses I am developing but these weird technical issues come up and I don't know how to solve them. I think they would even be willing to pay for some service if the problem was actually solved and the cost is reasonable.
thanks!

Hi Susanne,
You mentioned that he created an app to play the Storyline courses? I know of issues with HTML5 in Safari but it's hard to diagnose without knowing how they're viewing the content. Hopefully someone in the community has solved a similar set up and would be able to help you!
Thanks for your response. Yes he created an app. I think I need to get someone more technical to talk with him. thanks for the link about Safari.
Sounds good Susanne - and he may want to post in the forums as well, that way he could offer more specifics about how he created it and what it entails. The community is very helpful at determining workarounds for things that aren't supported.
