I am currently working on a 508 course and I am using this new feature loads!
I am however finding that the pop up window is huge - with no way of resizing it and when I try to add things back to the tab order the selection window doesn't seem to scroll properly (so I can't find all of the items) and is very large also.
Is this just me? Do I need to change some settings? or is this an issue for the support team?
Hi Donna! I have not heard of this happening to users. The first thing that comes to mind is your DPI settings.
Articulate Storyline requires Microsoft Windows to be configured with 96 DPI (dots per inch). If Windows is using a different DPI setting, you may experience erratic behavior, such as:
* Elements of the application are misplaced or distorted.
* Objects are misplaced or distorted when previewed or published.
* Zoomed images don't work as expected.
* Font sizes are incorrect after using the translation features.
I reported this to support on the day update 5 was released - Case # 00551457. It is strange for a dialog box to open up larger than the parent application when that application is being run maximized!
I was advised to change my screen resolution - not possible as I am on the max my laptop will deliver and then further advice to auto-hide my task bar. Being honest, not the best support advice I've ever had from Articulate, but I'm hoping it has been added to the 'to fix' list for the next update.
