Can someone help me how can we restore the storyline files from the My Articulate Project folder from a laptop that got damaged due to water spillage. This is urgent.
Yikes! I'm sorry about the problem you are having! Hopefully the drive is still good and you can still recover your data.
First, unplug anything connected to the laptop (charger, thumb drive) and place it under direct sunlight to dry off ASAP. Don't attempt to turn it on until its had a good amount of time to dry off.
If you feel comfortable, dismantle the laptop to open it and remove the hard drive. Hopefully the drive is unharmed so you can try to recover the data. After that, you would need an external hard drive reader to "mount" the drive to, connect that reader to another computer so you can retrieve the data and store it somewhere safe. (i.e. thumb drive, cloud storage, etc.)
If you aren't comfortable dismantling your laptop, I would bring it to a professional to have them attempt to recover the data for you. But time is of the essence so you should act quickly.
