Hi everyone, new to storyline but beginning to understand it.
Is there any way on launching content (layer) from hyperlink or hotspot to open in a new window on the second screen, this is one of the main features our current delivery tool uses, so hopefully this is possible with Storyline as well.
What i'm after is to be able to click a hotspot or hyperlink to display a layer or picture / media (not online content) on the second screen, mainly for instructor led training.
Use the jump to URL/file trigger. Point the jump to the file that contains the media you want and set the option to display in new browser window.
Some caveats:
You won't be able to see it in preview, so you'll have to publish to test. When it is published, it will package the file with the published output.
When I tried it, it opened in a new tab, so to some extent it depends on the browser settings. Of course, since you have control over those browsers, you can probably make it work.

you can use a web object to show for example homepages or other online content.
Is this what you meant/want?
