I would like to have the same two layer (Summary & Video) on a group of introduction slides. When I add new ones with the new slide button i don't see the two layers.
The layout you've modified (by adding Summary and Video layers) is the Blank one? And this is used by slide 2 only? If so, when do you want those two layers to appear?
You need to tell the layout how to use the layers - just like in a normal slide. They won't appear in Slide View as such, i.e. you won't be able to work with them from there. But they will appear in the output provided they're invoked.
I've called the video layer in the layout (so the TV screen appears in Introduction). Is this what you're trying to do? I'm not sure ... Do you need both layers on the same layout? How about 2 different layouts?
What I want to be able to do is to create a new slides that automatically have the Summary and Video layers that I will call with triggers from the slide as I develop it
At the momement i have to copy an exiting slide with thse layers.
If I undertsand corerctly then these layers on the layout can't be edited etc (I would like to add slide specific summaries/videos) in slide view so maybe I need to stick to the copy/paste solution.
Ever find a solution for this? I'm creating a custom player with a Transcript layer on every page.
I wanted to stick the main assets of the Transcript window in the Slide Master, and only have to copy paste a scroll window + text box from page to page, instead of the entire layout (to minimize editing the layout in EVERY PAGE as opposed to 1 Master section.

I think I did this:
Create a new layer in the Feedback Master of the project
Add a new layer on the 'project' slide,
This new slide layer can use layouts in the feedback master.
