I have some text I need learners to be able to copy and paste to other places. I've tried using a text input box and setting it to restore the text when the learner loses focus. However, if they alter the text in any way, the text is no longer able to be copied - it disappears when the learner clicks in the box. Are there other ways to allow learners to copy in Storyline and paste text elsewhere?
This may not work for your needs, but you could display text in an HTML page that is displayed in a Storyline web object. That text can be copied and pasted, see here a quick example.

This thread is a bit dated and even though Michael is still active in the forums, not sure that would be an easy fix :)
