Lightbox HTML5 Bug?

Jul 29, 2014

Hello,

I am currently having an issue with a lightbox slide when viewed on an iPad via the HTML5 publication.

I have created a lightbox "menu", which consists of a slide on which I have place a series of buttons. Each of these buttons has:

- a close lightbox trigger

- a jump to slide trigger

When viewed on a PC, everything works normally. The lightbox is closed and you jump to the correct slide.

On the iPad, the content of the lightbox closes, but the outline of it remains on top of the slide to which you jump. Here is what it looks like:

Is this a known issue? Is there a workaround that will allow me to fix it?

Thanks!

Allison

Hi Allison,

I do see that this has been reported to our Quality Assurance team, but I don't have a workaround to offer in regards to the issue. It seems to be connected to the jump to scene/slide trigger and closing the lightbox at the same time.

I'll add this thread to the existing report with our QA team to let them know it's impacting another user, and to keep you posted when I have additional information to share. Can you confirm which update of Storyline you're using? We're currently on update 6 (released at the end of last week).
