The red "x" button to close a lightbox is appearing below the slide. My slide has a black background, and the lightbox loads in a way that looks like a black box is in front of the red x. I can't figure out how to fix this. Any ideas?
When editing that slide, if you select the red "x" button then right-click it, you will have the option to bring the button to the front. I would give that a shot and please let me know if that didn't work.

Thanks! The problem is this is a lightbox. When editing the slide, this x does not appear; I did not add this to the slide. I believe SL is adding the button when it launches the slide as a lightbox.
You are correct, the x on the lightbox is added by Storyline.
I've not seen the behavior displayed in your image above. With your permission, I'd like to take a look at your project file to investigate what's happening. You can share it publicly here, or send it to me privately by uploading it here. I'll delete it when I'm done troubleshooting.
