Lightbox quiz base and return to feedback layer on close?

Nov 11, 2019

I'm building a course where I need to lightbox the base of a question slide from that question's feedback layers. Ideally, the user should be able to view the feedback layer, click the button to lightbox the base slide, and then return to the feedback layer when they close the lightbox.

I'm encountering a problem where the learner clicks the lightbox button as intended, but when they close the lightbox, the feedback layer they clicked from is now hidden, and they're presented with the base layer of the question.

Any ideas on how to get this to trigger the way I'm describing?

Hi Daniece

Lightboxes are tough to work with as you have no control over the X close button to be able to trigger anything.  I've tried using variables and timeline triggers but it always depends on the user and how they interact so that would be hit and miss solution.

Perhaps creating a custom lightbox solution would work better when you can add a close button and use triggers on it.

Here and here are posts about creating a custom lightboxes.

Perhaps someone else has a better solution - sorry I couldn't be more help
