I am having difficulty with one of my courses. I have three objects for the employees to select that will open another layer for them to read more about the subject.
I want to lock the slide so they have to select all of the objects before they can navigate to other slides. I'm not sure what I've done that is prohibiting this. Can anyone help? I've attached the .story file.
I added a next slide to test and changed your first trigger by removing the condition if slide3=true and changed the when statesfrom hidden to visited.

See if this is the behaviour you are after.
Have a look at the attached and see if that's what you want. I removed some unneccessary triggers and removed a condition from the slide trigger.
