Listen to entire audio before clicking

Jul 16, 2020

Hello,

I've reviewed a bunch of discussions, but I'm still struggling to make this work. I have 4 pictures and each one, when clicked, corresponds to a layer w/audio. When you view the slide, it will let you click all 4 icons without listening to the audio in full. This isn't completing the slide; therefore, the person cannot move forward.

Ideally, I'd like the person to be able to click the icons in any order. Once they are all clicked, it will automatically move to the next slide. I've attached the slide. Thanks!

Hi Connie,

I changed some things on your slide and I think I have it working the way you want.  First on each layer I clicked the Gear Icon in the lower right corner of the SL Window. I checked the box that says "Prevent the user from clicking on the base layer".

I added a trigger on the base slide to change the initial state of the Next button to hidden.

Then I created a variable called Complete and added some triggers to each layer. The first trigger added 1 to the Complete variable and the second checks the variable to see if it is equal to 4. If the variable isn't equal to 4 nothing happens, if it is equal to 4 then it will change the state of the Next button to Normal. The last trigger will simply close the layer and return you to the base slide.

I've attached my version. Let me know if things aren't clear.
