I'm trying Storyline 2 and, after a 8 hours work, with a few saves per hour, minimum, I tried to close and go home, but when Storyline was trying to save for the last time, I got stuck on "Low Memory" message.
When I open, my surprise.. A few saves didn't work!!!!
Ok, I can re-do all, but I really need the "Screen Capture" that I did. Where I can find them, If in my project didn’t appear?
Sorry about any language mistake, I'm Brazilian =)
I'm sorry to hear about your issue with saving - and first I'd recommend trying to look within the "record screen" drop down as any screen recordings you've conducted in the file should be saved there. Also, since you're using Storyline 2 it would be worth enabling the auto recovery feature so that you wouldn't lose any saved changes and ensure you're saving to a local drive.
Lastly if you see this error message again, I'd recommend that you try saving with other programs or applications closed to help reduce memory issues within your system and ensure your system meets the minimum requirements here.
Actually, I enabled auto recovery but I think the problem was big.. Because that didn't work too..
The screen record is save at the same file of the project? Because if it's, I lost the records too... =(
And about the auto recovery... It save in another place or only save the same file? Maybe could be a salvation! I saw in the article that you sent me that it save a copy!!
Yes, it is saved in the same project. The autorecovery is set as a default to back up every 10 minutes any pending unsaved changes, and should be saving those here: AppData/Roaming/Articulate/Storyline path. This auto recover file is named using a format like this: <name of the file witout .story extension><creation time stamp of the file>.tmp
So that's what you may want to search your system for to see if you can locate the file that way.

Thank you so much for the quick reply!
Hi Guilherme,
Yes, it is saved in the same project. The autorecovery is set as a default to back up every 10 minutes any pending unsaved changes, and should be saving those here: AppData/Roaming/Articulate/Storyline path. This auto recover file is named using a format like this:
<name of the file witout .story extension><creation time stamp of the file>.tmp

Nothing there too =(
Ok, let's do it all again..
