I haven't heard a lot about LTI compliance in our forms, so I'm not sure how common of a request it is, but you'll definitely want to share your thoughts on why you need Storyline to be LTI compliant/certified in the form of a feature request so that our product development team is aware of the need.
How can I add my +1 to the request for Basic LTI ? It's remarkably simple to implement an LTI provider and means that you can plug it in easily to many VLEs (including Sakai, Moodle - which is also itself an LTI provider so can be plugged into other VLEs, etc.).
Our VLE people have just confirmed that Sakai doesn't support SCORM without a commercial SCORM plugin and that there isn't enough demand to justify this...so will have to look elsewhere until Storyline supports LTI. Thanks anyway.
I got approval at 10 am to buy two more licenses for my team for Articulate Storyline and then had the funding frozen by 4pm to reallocate to another authoring tool once we found out Articulate Storyline is not LTI complaint. I am incredibly saddened that I am being forced to leave this INCREDIBLE product and community due to the feature not being there. Let me know when it is added and I will fight to return!
Sad to see no visible attention being paid to this as LTI is such a baseline requirement in the education market - especially now that with 2.5 content can be made mostly accessible.
We don't release information in regards to features which will be included or product road maps, but our team is always taking a look at trends and emerging factors in the market and weighing those in as a part of the product planning process. If there are specific things you'd like to see sharing your thoughts in the form of a feature request is a great way to communicate directly with our product team.
I work for a university in Australia and my IT department considers LTI one of the most secure method of transferring results back to Blackboard using authoring tools. It adds another layer of security which involves a shared password between vendor and client which is something SCORM doesn't offer. If Articulate wants big business they should implement LTI.
I appreciate you popping in to share and you are welcome to share your thoughts with our product development team here. This helps us understand a need for sure.
Our product team is always keen to hear about customer needs, so I'm going to share this discussion with them. If we add this format in the future, we'll let you know!
Feel free to share any other thoughts you have here or through our Feature Request form!
Thanks for following up. We don’t have currently have plans for this feature in our roadmap, but we’ll remain active in our tracking of this request and be sure to update this discussion if anything changes!
My contact at an Australian University is very inclined to use FeedbackFruits within Articulate to make course designs within Articulate more engaging and active. Could you please update me, and the community, on the possibility to integrate third party LTI tools? This is of essence for more engaging course designs and flexibility for course designers.
Thanks, Max for reaching out! We've not added LTI compliance to our product roadmap yet but appreciate you adding your voice. You can see our Articulate 360 Feature Roadmap here, and our “What’s New” page highlights features recently added.

Hi Denice,
At this time, Articulate Storyline is neither LTI Compliant nor LTI Certified.
Thanks for the prompt feedback, Ashley! Greatly appreciated.
No problem Denice!
Just wondering where LTI was on the roadmap. We have a lot of people who would love to use it but lack of LTI is a deal breaker.

Janet - please submit your feature request for this functionality as well.

Hi, has there been any progress on this in the last three years?
Hi Mandla,
We've not added LTI to our list of supported output types, but we'll keep you posted here if we do.
LTI is a needed addition for those of us in Higher Ed.
