I have created a number of screen recordings and entered them in a project as both show and try. I have been asked if I can make the Try scenarios compulsory but I do not want them as graded as this will interfer with our LMS on the course assessment. Currently you can click into them and then click out with out having to actually do the try scenario.
You'd have to experiment to find a way to make this work within a screen recording slide, but you may be able to work something out using one of these methods. Good luck, and let us know how it goes!
I think this will work for what I need - I also think it will solve another problem with regard to ensuring that all layers are viewed before proceeding - I've been doing it the hard way with removing the Next button and setting in timelines to control the slide but this way is much better!
