Marker Formatting Issues in HTML5 output...

Jun 16, 2015

Hello,

I've been experiencing an issue where the title and body of Marker text overlaps when displayed in HTML5 output (see attached). I have tried a variety of fixes, such as adding paragraph spacing and adding a carriage return after the title, with no success. Everything is fine in standard web output - this just happens with HTML5 output.

Has anyone else experienced this?

Thanks in advance!

Emily, yes - we are working locally. Justin, we are viewing this HTML5 output in Google Chrome (desktop) and mobile Chrome, as well as in desktop and mobile Safari.

Again everything looks fine in standard web output - it's the HTML5 output that we're seeing these formatting issues with Markers

I've attached the story file for you to review. Thanks to both of you for your help.

Hi, Eric.

Thank you for uploading your project file.  We have reviewed your project file and we were able to duplicate your issue.

I have submitted your case to our Quality Assurance team for their review.  Unfortunately I was unable to determine a workaround.  I cannot offer a time frame for when or if this issue will be resolved, but we will keep this Forum Thread updated with any developments.

Thanks for letting us know!

Hey Joanne - It does look like this issue is still open. We are now trying to track things better based on user impact, so thank you for bringing this into awareness again by letting us know your experience as well. Unfortunately that means I do not have an update to provide today, but perhaps we can get this brought into the forefront.
