Matching Drop Down Question w/ Long Text

Sep 25, 2017

A co-worker is creating a quiz & ran into this issue. We haven't been able to find a solution, so hope the community can help! It's probably something very simple; we just haven't found it yet!

Using a Matching Drop Down question & some of the answers have fairly long text (36 characters or so). We're seeing odd results in 3 different views ((see image below):

  1. Preview (answers are scrunched together; not enough lines for long answers)
  2. when taking the quiz (answer box is shorter; text overlaps; text repeats in 2 diff. sizes)
  3. when Reviewing (answer box is shorter; text overlaps; text repeats in 2 diff. sizes)

In testing it out, I added additional options with even longer answers. I've attached the .story file; if anyone can help, we'd appreciate it.

I'm sorry about that, Keith, and thanks for bringing it up. We're seeing the same thing, and our team is hard at work on a fix. It looks like this bug only affects the HTML5 output--the Flash output works normally.

I'll tag this thread to be updated as soon as a fix is released. Stay tuned, and I'm sorry for the trouble this is giving you!

Hi Erin and LaVon, I've got good news for you!  We just released another update for Articulate 360, and included a few important fixes and new features that you'll see in the release notes here.

In this update, we fixed some quiz review issues in HTML5 output, including overlapping answers in matching drop-down questions.

Just launch the Articulate 360 desktop app on your computer and click the Update button for each application.
