I'd like to disable the menu completion checkmarks in Storyline 360. Is there a better/easier way to do that than create a dummy slide for the menu that immediately jumps to the quiz slide?
Are you seeing the checkmarks in the Storyline player menu? Did you import the quiz slide from a Quizmaker project? It sounds like the Quiz player setting to show correct/incorrect carried over into the Storyline player. You'd have to turn off that setting in Quizmaker prior to importing.
Can you share a screenshot of what you're seeing and tell me a bit more about how you created the course? Was it exclusively in Storyline or did you combine it with a Quizmaker quiz?
I am seeing the checkmarks in the player menu. I did not import the quiz. Here is a screenshot of the menu. I created the course in Storyline 360 exclusively. Let me know what you find out.
Hmm, this one is a real puzzle! I'm trying to recreate this in Storyline 360, but I'm not having any luck. Could I see a copy of your file? You can attach it here, or click here to share it privately.
I did some digging, and we're seeing that a checkmark or X will appear if you promote a quiz slide in the player menu. It looks like that's what's going on in your file, as well.
Until we have a fix, you can get around this by reconfiguring your menu and demoting (right arrow) all quiz slides.
Thanks so much for bringing this up, and I'm sorry if it caused you frustration! I'll definitely post an update in this thread as soon as I get more information.
I added a blank heading at the top of the menu, then demoted the other slides so they are all on the same level. Take a look at the attachment--will that work for you?

I already uploaded it in this other thread; could you get it from there? https://community.articulate.com/discussions/articulate-storyline/marker-labels-becoming-transparent#reply-445279
Absolutely, thanks for sharing the link! I'll have a look and let you know what I find.

Thank you!!
When I demote them, they end up under the folder of "introduction," whereas I want them on the same level. What is the best way to achieve that?
Thanks!

Until the issue is sorted out in the software, this is a good workaround. Thanks for the suggestion!
