Missing buttons
Nov 28, 2019
Hi Community,
Wandering if anyone out there can help with this one...
I have a new section of eLearning that is menu based. On the main menu there are several buttons to click on, each taking you to a new slide with it's own subsequent menu. On this second menu I have a rectangular button that users click on to take them back to the main menu. I'm currently having this piece of eLearning reviewed and some users have reported that this button doesn't appear sometimes when they return to the second menu.
I have triggers and states and I can't see the button would randomly disappear and I haven't been able to recreate the error.
Does anyone out there have any ideas or know of any fault that might be causing this?
Thanks in advance,
Tom

Hi Tom
it's hard to say without seeing how your file is setup - can you share it?
I would be looking to make sure the object (return button) doesn't have an exit animation and it set to be on the timeline 'show always' or 'show till end'

Hi Tom
I've been through the course and done the KC. I'm not seeing the issue but what do you mean by in review mode? There is no review of the KC and the buttons are displaying for me at all times.
Hi Wendy,
Sorry I meant when published in Articulate Review.
Here are links to two of the courses where the error has been reported.

Hi again Wendy,
I've found the culprit - I hadn't realised I'd added exit animations on some buttons - school boy error! Thanks for looking in to this for me.
Tom
Ah the old exit animation - glad you sorted it out Tom and all the best with your project :-)
