We've encountered this issue when launching Articulate Storyline 2 files on mobile. This is happening on Apple and Android. Does anyone have solutions?
I don't have a solution, but in order to troubleshoot, I would upload a test module to SCORMCloud and try accessing this module from a mobile device. If that works then the issue must be with your LMS.
Thanks Michael, it's an interesting issue. I have other courses published by different software tools which are launching fine. It's just the Articulate Storyline 2 files that give this message.
Interesting indeed. I assume you are not trying to access these course from a mobile browser and NOT via the Articulate Mobile Player app (it only supports TinCan). I would open a support case.
I'd second Michael's recommendation to test the course in SCORM Cloud to see if the same thing happens there. SCORM Cloud is an industry standard, and you can get a free account for testing purposes if you don't already have one. Check out this tutorial on Troubleshooting your LMS using SCORM Cloud for reference.
And if you'd like to open a case and work one-on-one with our Support Engineers on this, you can reach out to them directly right here. :)
With mobile devices, sometimes the "launch"/communication window gets closed (on accident) and that can cause this problem as well.
@micheal Heinz - can the app communicate through Tin Can? I thought I read it was standalone only - no communication (designed for easy distribution in case you needed content offline).

That's correct. I am accessing it through a mobile browser and not the app. Thanks for the advice.

Paul, see this list here, under LMS.
Ah thank you! I see that it is now. Good to know! (though I suppose we should call it xAPI officially ;-)
