Moving Markers on Timeline... Jan 23, 2013 By Bruce Graham Hi, I can move Markers on the Timeline using my mouse in 8th-second gradations. I can move Markers on the Timeline using CTRL-Arrow key, or arrow-key only, in 1-second gradations. This may also be true for other feature, but why is this? Is there a sensible reason, or is it a bug, or is it the way things just are (it just seems a little inconsistent, that's all!) Thanks Bruce
Justin Wilcox over 11 years ago01/23/13 at 8:10 am (UTC) Hi Bruce. I am pretty sure that is a design decision. Similar to dragging objects in PowerPoint or bumping them with keys. Keys are incremental whereas the mouse is a freeform tool which is why you are able to be more specific.
