MP4 when imported to slide launches automatically even though there is a Play Media Trigger

I created an MP4 in Camtasia and imported to a slide. I have a play button trigger set so the media should begin when the user clicks the play button. But the MP4 launches automatically. Is this an issue within Camtasia and how it was produced or a Storyline issue?

Hi Jeannette,

Have you checked to see if the video is set to play automatically under Video Tools/Options?

I think the default setting when inserting a video is for it to play automatically.

No need for embarrassment. There are so many options, it's hard to keep track of them all. Glad that's what it was.
