1) I have put my own NEXT button triggers throughout my story and have chosen not to show NEXT on the player. When the PREVIOUS button is clicked on the player and then the slide replays, the NEXT button I added is not working, so the learner can't advance.
2) If I decide to just use PREV and NEXT on the player, is there a way to make the NEXT button only appear at the end of the slide? I don't want people to be able to breeze through the content by hitting NEXT right away.
For your second point, you can add a trigger to change the state of the NEXT button to Disabled when the slide timeline starts, and then another trigger to change the state to Normal when the slide timeline ends.
I'm having the same issue with my own previous and next buttons. If I click on the previous button, then the next button won't work. I don't want to use the player.

Thanks Tony. That accomplishes what I need (and is less work than creating my own NEXT buttons throughout the entire story).
Glad that Tony was able to assist you here Anita :)

Hi Marcella! If you have a .story file we could take a look at, I'm sure someone could assist you here :)
