Need help resuming timeline/audio on layers

Apr 25, 2024

I have an info icon (not a marker) on the base layer. When you click it, it shows a new layer with text and audio.

There are also 5 buttons and when you click each one, you get text and audio. These 5 layers are set to "Hide other slide layers". I have no trigger(s) added on these layers.

The info icon is NOT set to hide any layers.

On the base layer, I have these triggers set for the Info icon.

Here's what I need help with:

When I am on, for example, button 1 (layer) and I click the Info icon before this layer ends, I see the text/audio on the Info layer. Button 1 (layer) then pauses. When I click the X to close the Info icon, how do I get Button 1 (layer) to resume timeline and audio?

Thanks in advance.

I am only guessing as I don't see any other details of your slide configuration. I don't see any impact the Pause timeline on other layers will have clicking the Info icon. As soon as you jump to Info layer, clicking the Info icon would only pause the timeline on the Info layer. The Button 1 layer should always play audio when you jump to it by clicking the Info icon. You may not hear the audio on the Info layer when the timeline ends on this layer. However, you can reset it to the initial state to ensure the audio is played again when you come back to it. Perhaps you should upload your slide (after removing any sensitive information) so we can check for other factors that might be preventing you from setting this slide the way you want.
