I have a slide with a base layer with audio that plays automatically, and 3 buttons. Each button shows a layer, and plays an audio file. I unchecked hide other layers on my button layers because I want the learner to see the reveal text from a visited button to the end of the timeline.
I know how to stop the base layer audio when a button is clicked. However, how do I stop a button layer audio when another button is clicked?
Button Layer 3 has audio. I want to stop audio for button layers 1 and 2 on click.
Button Layer 2 has audio. I want to stop audio for button layers 3 and 1 on click.
Button Layer 1 had audio. I want to stop audio for button layers 2 and 3 on click.
It may help if you're able to share a copy of your .story file here so that folks in the community can take a look at your design set up and weigh in on specifics of what you'd like to do.
You can add a trigger to "Stop Media / When User Clicks" or "Stop Media / When User Clicks Outside"
Using the "outside" option you can select the current layer button, so when a learner selects a different layer button the current layer audio will stop

Thanks Mr C for sharing that idea here as well - although this thread is a bit older it may assist others who come across it.
