I have a very long screen recording of a software demo. I would like to speed up the progression in a certain part and show the fields being filled in instead of having the user click through. I tried adjusting the beginning and ending of the recording on one slide and when fine tuning it shows the animation but doesn't show when I preview the slide. Not sure what I'm doing wrong. Do I need to actually cut a piece of the original recording to show as a video on the screen instead of using the step by step screen recording? I'd appreciate any help.
Never mind. I figured it out. I had a trigger that was preventing the screen recording from starting. Once I removed that and replaced it with one that started it at the beginning of the timeline, I was good.
