New Release- Lightbox error?

Feb 20, 2018

Hi! Just updated to the latest release, and my lightbox slides have gone wonky. How do I fix this? Is it a new bug?

If my browser is full screen the lightbox is too large and cropped and the x is not accessible. If my browser is smaller the lightbox is too small. (The player settings allow to resize to fill screen.)

I've attached images. My project is due Monday!?!?!

Just adding my voice to the chorus.  Lightboxes extend outside the screen.  There is no close button and therefore no way for a user to return to the opening slide.  As such, they are stuck and can no longer navigate.

As with others, I have critical deadlines looming, so desperate for a fix.

Whilst we await an official release, is there any way to hack the published JS and/or CSS, to revert the lightbox behaviour to the previous release?

NOTE:  I have tested the suggested fix (lock  player at optimal size), and it DOES NOT resolve the issue.

After further exploring this issue, I note that Articulate review DOES NOT HONOUR the setting: 'lock player at optimal size.

Regardless of what setting I apply here, the content in AR continues to scale with the browser.  As I increase the size of the browser window the lightbox takes an increasingly large percentage of the space, until it extends beyond the size of the player.

At this point, the close button is offscreen, so there is no way to close the lightbox, or navigate to any other slide

Hi all,

The issue with Lightbox slides covered the entire course when the player was set to fill the browser in HTML5 output was fixed in the Articulate 360 update released today!

Take a look at the release notes here, and you can install the latest update from the Articulate 360 desktop tray application by clicking Update

Hi Lesly,

The case number is #01287058.

I created a new testfile (attached) and the background of the lightbox scales wrong. I tested it with and without a menu.

You can test it on:

This is how it looks when you resize the browser window:
