I know I keep asking this every time I have a new SL project. I try looking back, but it doesn't help. Why is my next button showing up on my first slide? I want it to be disabled until all my buttons have been visited.
Click on one of the other conditions as the first one is set by default - on the second or third ones listed, you'll see the "and" in the front - and those are the ones you can change to OR.
Hi Kendra, We took a look at your file and made some adjustments to it so that it would work as you described. Please take a look at this on the slide for the triggers and adjustments made. I know that you’ve recently started using Storyline and staff and the community are ready to assist, but it may also be worthwhile to investigate the training options available here, especially as I believe we’ve talked about this same issue with the next button appearing after visited states in previous threads. The training would give you a good base going forward and then you could continue to reach out here for occasional assistance on specific issues. Also, the next buttons are on each slide, however you have them set to be disabled until the timeline ends. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do to assist.
I have taken the 4 day course on SL to learn about the program. What I still don't understand is why some next buttons with visited states have to be set up as different ones. I tried this and this did work. Thank you for your help.
I am unclear about what you are asking. The Next Button does not have a visited state. They can be set to Normal, Hidden, or Disabled. You can have these change when other buttons are Visited. Which is what you were asking for this file. Using the triggers/conditions I have set up in the above file will work as intended.
If you are trying to accomplish something else, please let me know.

Try the attached and see if that's what you want.
Yes! Thank you so much. I have printed this off to keep with my files.
Awesome! Glad that Michael was able to assist you here Kendra :) Thanks for popping in with an update.
Michael, I thought I copied you exactly and it still isn't working. What am I missing?
I still need help. Can someone please help?
On slide 1.1, you need to change the AND conditions in the first slide trigger to OR conditions.
Thanks for the follow-up, Michael. :) Please let us know if you are all set whenever you have a second, Kendra!
Still not understanding. The "or" is grayed out. Please see attached.

THANK YOU!!!!!!
Ok....why isn't this one behaving the same? The next button doesn't show up at all.
