If Storyline is published without HTML5 support and the learner's workstation doesn't have Flash installed... shouldn't Storyline show a nice message about requiring Flash to run?
There used to be a sniffer that would prompt the user to install flash, don't think this is in the html code anymore. Recently had a client use IE9 VM with no flash and they got no warnings

Hi Sam,
If the user does not have Flash installed, they will just not be able to open or run the course. There is no error message provided.
Kind of user un-friendly isn't it? Seems like every website out there tells the user he needs flash to play a video.
Is there a good reason why Storyline shouldn't?

Hi Sam,
I'm not on our product development team, so I can't always answer "why' questions, but you're welcome to share this feedback with them directly here.
