No iPad offline viewing? (TinCan + Litmos)

I'm having an issue with a course that has been designed to be viewed offline on an iPad, and then uses TinCan to track the results once they connect to the internet again.
However, once I upload the course to Litmos and view it from the iPad (using the Articulate Mobile Player), it doesn't have the option to download for offline viewing.
I know Articulate Online has disabled offline viewing, so I wondered if it might be an LMS issue?
Or is there something I'm just missing with the actual publishing process? I'm very sure that I've ticked the option to "Allow downloading for offline viewing"... but is there anything else I need to do?
Any information or experience with this kind of thing would be great!
Thanks,
-Jeff

Hi Jeff and welcome to Heroes!
For Tin Can API content, offline viewing is not supported as described here. Also as you mentioned, Articulate Online doesn't support offline viewing as described here.
Jeff, I'm just curious... Are you happy with the TinCan tracking provided by Litmos? Is it working ok?
Thanks for your help
Hi Ashley, thanks for helping clear that up. Are there any plans to implement offline viewing with TinCan tracking in the future? That'd be a feature we'd really like to see
Stefano, from my limited experience it's been really quite easy to set up with Storyline and Litmos. We've only needed basic TinCan tracking so far though, so I'm not sure how they're handling statements which are more like "Jeff experienced [XYZ]".
Hi Jeff,
I don't have information to offer in regards to future features, but you're welcome to submit a feature request regarding that functionality!
Hi Ashley,
Is Tin Can API offline viewing supported in Articulate Storylne 3 / 360?
Hi Emilio,
Offline viewing will work for web content only (so not for LMS content, even with Tin Can API). I saw it's not in our Tin Can API FAQs here for Storyline 3 (or 360) so we'll make a note.
Thanks for bringing that to my attention!
