Any way I can do that? My learners tend to just click CONTINUE instead of working off some interaction on a slide. missing. So I'd love to be able to take the CONTINUE button from the layers I want them to go through and add it again on the last layer.
Thx for your consideration and best regards Roland
While I do not know a way to make the "Next"-button (I assume, that you mean this one), to be visible only on another layer, there are two ways to deal with that situation, that I know of:
1. disable the "Next"-button on the slide properties and build your own button on the layer, with a "Jump to slide" -> "Next slide" trigger.
2. what I like to do:
create a boolean variable for each interaction, that the learners are supposed to do, set it on false and change the variable to true through the interaction.
Change the state of the "Next"-button to hidden at timeline start and change it back to normal depending on these variables.
You have to disable the NEXT button (i.e. forced learning) and ask the learners to do some activity or visit all the five layers one after other (with some additional options). It can be done with variables and triggers.
To disable Next button, you need to have two triggers: 1. Change state of Next button to Disabled, when the timeline starts 2. Change State of Next button to Normal, when the x,y,z state or some required conditions are met.
Probably, if you provide the slide with layers, I can have a look.
Knut: Yes, I meant NEXT (in german, how I develop, it's WEITER) and I dig your proposal 1. That's a workaround I would consider if I don't find our the more professional way, which I am sure there is. I don't catch on to prop. 2. Probably because I'm still somewhat a newbie to SL and have't really worked with varables.
Deepak: Sure, I'll gladly attache my slide so you can have a look. It's got even 6 layers ;-).

Yes, Knut is right here.
