It's no fun to select, resize or move objects on the slide, especially shapes and text boxes. For text edits its fine, but trying to quickly select the object for resizing and moving - it's a pain. Many times I have to click twice, frequently the selection jumps to any other larger object behind.
Would it be possible to implement one click for object select (on canvas), double-click for for inside content edit?
