I'm curious about this combo of scoring in Storyline. I understand that if I use this setting, publish the course and subsequently pass it, it will show as 'passed'.
But what does 'incomplete' mean in this scenario? What is being tracked?
I ask because I have a course that isn't behaving: when I pass the course and exit it, it's showing as passed but incomplete in Scormcloud. I cannot see what is causing the incomplete status.
Thanks for sharing the file. I tested your course in SCORM Cloud and saw the same issue, as the incomplete was showing even when passing. using Passed/incomplete should report both Completion and Success status.
After looking at the file, it seems you had 3 quiz questions to track, and 4 results slides, one for each question, and one final. However, each results slide needs to be reached in order for the completion to report. On the final question, the continue button on the correct answer was jumping to the 1.29 results slide and not the 3.3. You can either update that trigger, or you could just remove the 3 results slides, and just set the 1.29 to pull from the 3 questions and not the 3 results slides.
Here is the SCORM output for your review. Also attached is an updated file. Hope this helps!
I need the four results slides because the quiz is set up so that learners must return to any questions they've got wrong before they can complete the course.
My understanding is that this is the only way to have the quiz operate in this way. Am I wrong?
If you need to keep all 4 results slides, then you can just change the trigger on the final questions correct feedback to jump to 3.3 instead of 1.29. They would need to reach all of the results slides in order for the course to complete.
I've now got a similar problem with another quiz in the same format. It's showing a 100% score but incomplete and unknown success.
I feel as though I'm missing something fundamental here that this keeps going wrong. Are you able to suggest a troubleshooting process that could help me out here?
