Pause Audio
Nov 30, 2016
Hello, all,
I've searched around but have not found an article which address my issue.
I have a main slide with audio and two hot spots; each hot spot branches to a sequence of two slides. After the learner takes one branch and views both slides sequentially, I am linking them back to the main slide they left from. On this return visit, I would like the narration audio not to play. I'm guessing I'd use a "Pause media" trigger, but this doesn't seem to be having the desired effect. Can anyone shed some light on what I might be doing wrong?
Thank you!

Hi Alan, you need to create a true/false variable to get this to work. Set the initial state for this variable to False
After you have created the variable, you need to add a trigger to the last slide in each of the branches. This trigger should adjust the variable to true when the timeline starts.
Then back on your main slide layer add a trigger to stop the media when the timeline starts with the condition that the variable equals true.
Thanks very much, Nancy! I appreciate you making the time for a reply. :)
Anytime, I hope it helped.
