I have Menu checked in the Player and the Menu tab is showing in the Player, but no slides are shown on the menu. I have tried resetting the menu, but no improvement. When I go into the slide properties, the Player Defaults are selected in the Player Features. When I switch to Custom for the Selected Slides, menu is not checked. If I check it then the slides do appear in the menu. However, I do not want to have to change this for every slide. If I have Player Defaults selected shouldn't the menu appear on every slide? How do I correct this? Thanks!!
Ive noticed that the menu items can disappear from Preview mode from time to time. No idea what causes it, but final output (publishing) doesnt seem to be affected.
I was trying to recreate your set up by unselecting the menu in the "Custom" view and then going back to the "player default" view. It looks like when I do that, it resets my Custom to match my player as a starting point, so I'm not able to experience the same as you shared.
Thanks for sharing that! It really helped me to understand your setup. Take a look at this quick Peek video I recorded with my findings and you'll also see the copy I updated attached for you.

Are you using the Preview mode?

Thanks Andrew! Yes, I am in Preview. I haven't tried publishing yet. I'll try. Seems like it should work in Preview.
I never use Preview for anything other than a single slide. Its just way to buggy to have any faith in it.
I hope you see your Menu ok when you publish.
Good luck!
Hi Rich,
This should be working for you - what version of Storyline are you using? Also, have you added the menu as a tab or sidebar?
Storyline 360 v3.15.15581.0
Yes, I have selected the Menu in the player under Topbar Right.

Do you have a .story file you can share?
Attached.
I also tried publishing and that didn't work either.

Thank you so much, Ashley! Figured it was something I did wrong.
Not a problem, Rich. 😀
Ashley, I just viewed your little video and it was such a help. I needed to move the menu to the top and I forgot how to do that. Thanks!
Aw, happy to hear that helped Norma! Let us know if you need anything else.
