Is there a way to play a sound across two slides? I have a button that is triggered to jump to the next slide when clicked. I inserted a sound file and triggered it to play when a user click the button. When I preview the scene, I can't cannot hear anything.
Nancy is right - audio does not play across slides, but you mentioned playing audio across just two slides - would it work to move your second slide to a layer on the first slide? Then the audio could play across both because you only have one slide. Could be worth a try!

Sorry Joshua, you can't do that in Storyline. There is no way to share a single audio file across slides.
