Possible to bulk-edit the number of attempts?
Jan 24, 2013
I have a lot of quizzes in my course, and when I first created them, I thought I would be nice to the learner and allow unlimited attempts. In actually taking the quizzes, I have discovered that the learners get stuck and can't move on. So now I want to limit attempts to 2, but it looks like I have to do that one slide at a time. Is there any way to mass-edit my "# of attempts" settings?
I know I could re-import the screen recording, but I've already fixed a lot of captions and combined several screen recordings. I'm hoping to avoid that :(

Hi Rebecca,
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I don't believe you can change the attempts for multiple quizzes or screencast slides. I know you've done a lot of work to the slides already, so I can totally understand not wanting to do them all over again. I'm hoping that someone else may have some suggestions for making this a little less time consuming for you.
Sorry again, Rebecca. I hope everything turns out alright!
Hi Christine! Would it be possible in the future to pre-set this right after recording when it creates the Test slides? That would be nifty to have that setting as an option before the slides are created.
Hi Jenifer!
I can see how that would be beneficial! Would you mind sharing this with our team?
