Previously we have never had an issue with importing powerpoint into Storyline. Today i have have had 3 collegeagues report that none of them can import powerpoint 2010 files into storyline.
I have tried this myself this morning and have the same result. It acts like it is importing, shows a message that it is reading the power point, then produces an error message.
Generally speaking, If you encounter a Failed to import PowerPoint presentation error message in Articulate Storyline, it indicates one or more of these issues.
I've gone through each of the issues on the "these issues" site and none apply - possibly the service pak but that is controlled strictly by our it dept. I may need to reach out to them to see if the service paks are up to date.

Good Afternoon, Jennifer.
I've been unable to reproduce this problem using a quick test .pptx file.

Our IT dept verified that we have the most up to date microsoft service pak.
The security permissions for Storyline are the same as with Power Point.
I've run the repair on Microsoft and rebooted.
Still no joy
Thanks for going through those steps, Jennifer.
