I'm trying to convert an old PowerPoint into Storyline 2 in order to add easily played videos into the presentation. My problem is that I have "on click" animations in my PowerPoint and when converted to Storyline 2, these animations plays automatically, without prompt, and on their own. I was wondering if there was a way to avoid this and keep the pace of each slide in my own hands.
The animations will come through as automatically as you've seen - Storyline doesn't have the same on click animation set up - but you could set the elements to appear later in the timeline allowing for them to appear at the time you'd prefer. Also here is a bit more information about importing in from Powerpoint to Storyline.
When on click animations are imported conditions are created:
You can change the timing of when the animation runs here.
If there is only one click required on the slide, you could pause the timeline when the timeline starts and have a click to resume timeline (example attached).

Just a couple of thoughts.
Cheers
